My Health Journey….What I Have Learned😊

Can I talk about the Goodness of my God? October 31, 2020 I suffered a major stroke, Friday night October 30, 2020 my hubby and I were reading to each other in bed, Saturday morning I woke up and was unable to walk, talk and see!

God is the Great Physician…I am living proof 👇👇👇

My blood pressure was 238/114 For years I have been in denial of my blood pressure (no way my pressure is that high was my favorite statement)! I should not be here! My pressure was 238/114 the day I had this stroke, My God is so so Good, let no one tell you that He is not! I could not walk, talk nor see! I felt like such a failure the day I had this stroke, (I am a firm believer in taking care of our bodies. Eating organic & natural foods, no diary, sugar, processed foods, and lots of whole and raw foods. Exercise is a must, I also believe in supplementation). I asked God why me, and I heard Him whisper in my ears why not you Ruth, my daily prayer is to be used by God and He is using me through this stroke! I have learned to start listening to my body, headaches that last for days is a sure sign that a stroke is about to occur.

God is an amazing healer, I am walking on the treadmill, I am on the elliptical for 5 minutes! I am lifting weights again!! (October 31st I was unable to walk, talk and see, today I am walking, talking and seeing! This stroke has affected my speech and I am unable to run (but everyday I am getting stronger)!!

Morning an evening I drink in a shot glass of water 2-3 drops of Frankincense, Lemongrass, Marjoram, Cinnamon Bark and Juniper Berry , this combination has helped my BP tremendously! I drink these oils everyday for my emotional wellbeing! Melissa, Wild Orange, Frankincense and Peppermint Essential Oils are my new BFFs’ there are days when I get very emotional, thinking about where I use to be and where I am now, ( I know God has great plans for me, I need only sit back and wait on Him)!

I hope this blog post can help someone that is going through the same situation, know that God has you in the palm of His hands and He will never leave you are forsake you!
